Bonjour mes amis!
I’m quite excited to do this blog because it’s all about my travels again! Yaaaaay! I love blogging my whereabouts and thank goodness I have been given the free time to make this blog entry and share it with you because this moment is long overdue (sorry). Anyway, I had been blessed and favored to have a week of vacation break just before I end my journey in college. A lot of things happened on that short span of time and it was truly one of the best trips I have ever experienced! I'll try my best to not-write so much about this trip since this entry will be lengthy because of the numerous photo. So I'll try to let the pictures do the talking instead, but I can't promise. Haha!
BOHOL

Now we're on to my third and last destination.. Bohol.
Bohol is just two hours away from Cebu when you travel through fast craft. The weather was nice when we traveled so I didn't really had a hard time battling seasickness while travelling.
We stayed in Bellevue Hotel in Panglao and their place was beautiful. After we arrived in the hotel, I hurriedly took a picture of their big hut to post it on my Instagram account. Oh well. Haha.
We arrived late in the afternoon so after roaming around the hotel, we had some buffet dinner beside the beach. They serve Western, Oriental and Mediterranean cuisine. :)
The next day, we moved to see the famous chocolate hills. We climbed more or less a hundred steps just to reach the top and get the best view! Hahaha. Then we found ourselves catching our breaths afterwards.
The hills that time were not chocolate-looking since the grass have not yet withered but it still looks beautiful though. :))
Next stop was the Tarsier Conservation area.
Then Bohol Butterfly Garden.
and The Man-made forest of Bohol

When we're done taking numerous photo of the chocolate hills, butterflies and tarsiers, we had a lunch buffet at Loboc River Cruise. There was a live band performing while the passengers were eating their meals and enjoying the view of the river. Then we had a stop-over on a mini island of some sort where (I don't know if they're legit) indigenous people were waiting for us to arrive. Some played on drums, some were holding exotic animals and some were holding spears to depict the tribe's way of living. The river was colored blue-green and it was perfectly still.
The next time I'll be here, I'll take on a kayak trip at this river :)
We then headed to a cafe, beside the blood compact area, that has the best view of the ocean!
We culminated the day by playing and striking a pose at the hotel. Hahaha.
The next day, we got up early in the morning to watch the dolphins play. Unfortunately, only few of them showed up. Most of them swam in the deep because of the big waves. Hence, I was able to capture them jumping at the sea. So I guess that's enough. Sorry but this is the most decent dolphin pictures I have. Hihihi.
After the dolphin watching session, we went in Balicasag Island to unwind.
Just look at the clear waters of this island! Aaaaah! So beautiful.
This is the boat that takes tourists to snorkeling areas.
I swam with the small fishes and even followed a huge marine turtle to this deep area of the sea! Yaaaay!
Photoshoot with the waves, of course. :)
Second to the last stop on that day was our visit in the "Virgin Island". We were in awe when we first saw it from the boat that we were riding and even got awestruck when we arrived at the island. Its seemingly endless sandbar makes you feel like you are in a paradise specially designed for you by God. It is the best Island that I've been to so far. :))
The highlight of my experience that day was when I checked something on my bucket list:
Scuba Diving!
It was my first time and I regretted the fact that I don't have an underwater camera with me! Huhuhuhu.
It was the bestest of the bestest thing ever! If Scuba Diving wasn't that pricey, I would definitely make this a hobby (and surfing too hihi). I was supposed to swim only 5 meters deep because it was my first time. But it turned out that I swam 10 to 15 meters deep without me knowing. Hahaha. I'm so proud of myself! Hihihi. Really. Haha. I was guided by someone of course. :)
The feeling that you're seeing the vast ocean below with countless school of fishes swimming and beautiful corals dancing was fantastic! I really want to do scuba diving again soooon! Aaaaah!
The pressure that was being put on us at school was overwhelming and leaving for a vacation was the thing I really needed that time. But we all know this trip wouldn't last longer ( though I wished it would) and we had to return to the real world. Nevertheless, that break made me gain a lot of strength that sustained me from stress the school was giving me. Hahaha
The adventure I had with my sister, boyfie and cousin were stupendous and I can't wait for our next travel to take place sooooooon!
xoxo
