A little surprise birthday for my lovey :)

Last August 12 was a “beyond wonderful” kind of day for me and Lovey because it’s his birthday and, at the same time, our monthsary! Hahaha. Never mind the monthsary thing ‘cause his birthday is the main event of that day and the gist of this blog. Hihihi.

Initially, my plan was to surprise him with a dinner for two so we can have an intimate birthday celebration. Then I realized, it was his birthday and not our anniversary, it would be best if we’ll celebrate the moment together with our friends because, as stated in the movie Into the Wild, happiness is only real when shared. Hahaha.

Our friends and his cousin Bryan helped me out in planning on how to execute the “surprise” thingy that I’m going to do for him. Hahaha. I just hope that I did, somehow, surprised him.

We first went somewhere near the venue (Art District, Bacolod) and I told him that we'll just be waiting for my friend to arrive then we can go out somewhere else to celebrate his birthday together.
(Little did he know that I was actually waiting for his friends to arrive in the venue and for his cousin to finish prepping up the table, hihihi.)

While waiting, we took some pictures of ourselves as you can see in the photos above :)

Then I told him that my friend (the one that we were fakingly waiting) was on the other side of the street, so we went there (but we were in fact going to the venue, hihi.
I made him wait outside, which was a pretty bad idea haha, called him to go inside the cafe and welcomed him with a birthday song and a birthday cheese cake. Hihihi. Why so cheesy? Haha

[The Venue]

The venue's name was D' Coffee Ground House located in Mandalagan, Bacolod City. The place was slowly being known in the city and I decided to celebrate Lovey's birthday surprise here before it could get too mainstream. Hihihi. The place was cozy and artsy, a perfect place to bond with your friends. ^_^
And look at artworks and the words written in their walls! Don't they radiate good vibes? Teehee.
Thank God Lovey liked this place. Hihi.

[The lovely people]
They made this night merrier! :))))
Bryan, Jed and Lee Ann were the first ones to arrive and I'm happy that my BFFs (the pretty girls wearing a school uniform) were able to catch up with us! Yaaay so happy!

[The Small Gifts, meheheh]
I know how much he loves FC Barcelona that's why I got him a Nike Barcelona Supporters Ball.
I love his expressions in this photo. Hihihi. Makes me fall even more in love. Chaaar, haha! <333

[The Fooooooood!]
Everything were ordered from the cafe except for (our favorite) Calea's Blueberry Cheesecake :)
By the way, another gift that I have given him is a caricature of himself and a short letter with it, hihihi <33
This is a close-up shot of DGH's Nachos Mexican Dip
DGH's yummy sweet potato fries topped with garlic parmesan cheese powder, noooms!
DGH's Porkchop with pepper and kernel, the one I had for dinner. Hihi :))
A very very delicious popcorn chicken! Totally a must try! :)
And of course, their best-seller, mud-pie coffee milkshake with espresso shots! (Photo taken by DGH)
What I had, however, was a mud-pie milkshake free from caffeine and it was, indeed, heaven in a jar! :))
-----
I was actually wondering if I could jam here together with my lovey. Haha!
The expression he has in this picture is the same expression he had in his caricature! Haha. Too cute! :))
I hope he enjoyed the little surprise I had for him. Hihihi. It just feels so great to see the one you love float in the sea of happiness. Hihi. Thank God for making him (for me, haha) and for adding another blissful year in the life of my one and only love. :))))

Thank you dearest friends for helping me out in this surprise and for supporting us always!
Haha. Love lots! :*
