Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko | Lingap sa Mamamayan

Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko (My Countrymen, My Brethren) project was launched by Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo). He likewise urged the brethren to further propagate the faith and share the message of salvation to all humanity, especially to our countrymen.

The project is held regularly in different parts of the Philippines and the World!
Last May 24, 2014, the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) conducted its My Countrymen, My Brethren; Aid to Humanity (Kabayan Ko Kapatid Ko; Lingap sa Mamamayan) Program in Panaad Park and Stadium, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. Through the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, thousands of indigent Negrosanons (members and non-members of the Church) were given aid such as food and other basic needs in compliance with the biblical mandate “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:38 NIV).

Not only that the Iglesia Ni Cristo provide humanitarian aid but also holds its “Evangelical Mission” campaign. For the information of everybody, Iglesia Ni Cristo’s Evangelical Mission is an activity in which the Word of God is being shared with non-members who join the event. Knowing that the aid, such as food, given by the church is only but temporary, the Church acknowledges the greater need for the recipients to obtain the spiritual food which is the word of God.

Look at the crowd who attended Iglesia Ni Cristo's Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko Project!
Absolutely fascinating and at the same time exhilarating, hihi.

Glad to have these people during the event :)

Selfie with the crowd! It actually feels like we're attending the Bazooka Rocks Concert/Woodstock because of the number of people surrounding us. Hahaha.

While waiting for the Evangelical Mission to start, I decided to take a photo with these two amazing girls!
Hihihi.
By the way, before the Evangelical Mission started, there were several ice breakers and entertainment offered by the Iglesia Ni Cristo Members from Luzon. Even Victor Wood was there too! Ahhh, his voice is so classic. Here are the pictures:

It was a whole-day event and the Evangelical Mission started a little late in the afternoon.
Ka Eduardo Manalo, gave his pastoral letter via video and Brother Glicero Santos Jr. from Luzon led the sermon.

There were different speculations made by different people after the event (as usual) but what matters is that help has been distributed to the ones who are in need and the Gospel was proclaimed for everyone to be enlightened and for them to see the ultimate truth.
