Celebrate Love

April 12, 2014 marked our second month as a couple! Last 12th day of the month, we both forgot to celebrate our first month hahaha. (Actually we went out for dinner that time but forgot that it's our 1st monthsary haha). It wasn’t a big deal for us though. It’s not like we’re taking each other for granted or what whenever we fail  in remembering to celebrate such, it’s basically because we both think it’s not really “required” for us to celebrate our monthly anniversaries. Heheheh. If we remember it, good; If not, fine as well. I just don’t think we, or any couples for that matter, should make a fuss or an issue if one of them forgets their monthsary. But for, Anniversaries, well, that’s another story haha J

Don’t get us wrong, we both like to celebrate our monthsaries but we don’t give too much of our attention to it. For one thing, maybe it’s because we treat every day as a special day for both of us. Hihihihi. If one of us forgets our monthsary, it wouldn’t matter since we both believe we will still have a lifetime to celebrate countless Anniversaries. J

But since we remembered it, I’m going to post the little special things we did today J
Let’s see..
  • ·         We had our lunch, merienda and dinner that didn’t cost us a dime.
  • ·         Had an area meeting with other Kadiwa District Officers
  • ·         Met new friends
  • ·         Watched a good film at my lovey’s home
  • ·         Took pictures of each other (hahaha)
  • ·         Bought a scarf for lola

But the most important thing is, we spent precious quality time with each other!!

(it's a collage mind you hihihi)
Ahhhhhhh, I just love every thing about this gentleman <3

He took my OOTD picture, hihihi.
(Different pictures were posted on my instagram and lookbook account)
------

We might have forgotten to celebrate the first month that we had and we may forget our other monthsaries. But that’s not really matter. After all, what truly matters is that we both cherish each moment that we have. Because every day that we are together is a celebration. J

Break for Nature

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We would like to thank the Bayot-Katalbas family and their birthday boy Macoi for making all of this happen. And also, Vhing Bayot for taking these few photos. Hehe.
--------

We all have our way of combating stress and diminishing the intense heat of summer. For us, we opted to fight stress by indulging in the refreshing waters of the hot spring and chose to momentarily escape summer heat by relaxing in nature's cool and gentle breeze.

Mambukal is only one of the best place that offers great rest and relaxation in Negros.

And to give you little facts about this place:
The resort is only less than an hour away from Bacolod when you're driving a private car; their price is so affordable; and they provide a lot of amazing facilities for you and your family to enjoy  (Like boating, zip-lining,wall climbing, hiking, swimming and all of that sort). ^_^

Since we were weary from work (in fact me and rj (esp) only had a few hours of sleep the night before haha, zombies!) we decided to dip in the searing pool of sulfur to ease the stress away. Hihi.

We were with Minister Sonny (the one with glasses), new friend Brother Jerry (the foreigner), uhm the old man who sort of "joined" in the photo and Manang Smile with her daughter Savannah :)

I wish I had more photos to share but I was too tired to even take a single photo that time.

Anyway, we had an absolute and an unsullied fun!

How is your summer vacay doing? :)

All about the heart

"Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
(Psalm 51:10)

I feel so loved unconditionally (both by my creator and my love) and I realized that I should not detest anybody (like you know who) because the love that God and Koikoi are giving me is sooo overflowing that it should consume whatever filthy things I have in my heart.

For the record, I'm not perfect and I also have my weak points and at times. I can get impulsive that I get to lose my composure hastily. Our hearts after all is the most deceitful of all things and whatever stuff we put in it will be shown in our actions. (And that explains my former sentence haha)

We were warned to guard our hearts for it is the well spring of life.  (Prov 4:23)

And from now on I'm gonna do my best (fully equipped with God's might) to guard my heart and dwell on the things that are true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper; and I won’t ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise. My heart might still be in the process but as I continue to focus on these things, and the love I'm constantly getting from the people around me, God will surely give me a PURE AND GENTLE HEART as what I've always desired. ☺

Right now, I could never be more OPTIMISTIC and HAPPY.  ☺☺☺

ASEAN Night

Pardon me for posting this late, you see, things have been so crazy and hectic for the last few months that I never got the opportunity to update this humble blog of mine. lol The class that I am into has been frantically going to and fro trying to finish everything from tiny works such as making of props, planning out presentations, running errands up to finishing off the meat of the matter for our ASEAN AWARENESS DAYS activity. We recently held our ASEAN culmination night. However, the culmination of our activity or the ASEAN NIGHT was not the end of this campaign and in this entry I hope that, aside from sharing our experiences, I could impart a portion of what I know about this topic.

Our class initiated the ASEAN AWARENESS DAYS to raise public awareness because the ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY draws on apace. The ASEAN Economic Community or AEC shall be the goal of regional economic integration by 2015 and it implies that there will be a single market and free trade for all the ASEAN member states. This program is remarkable for other economically stable ASEAN states, however for the Philippines, we cannot fully say that we are ready. Nevertheless, we should all brace ourselves from the upcoming integration.

This integration will be helpful to all ten member states. I can’t help but imagine that one day ASEAN will be akin to EU. (Don't you envision that too? Hihi.)

While it appears daunting to many industries in our country, let’s remain unfazed and cool over the upcoming regional economic integration ‘cause there is something greater coming. After all, the AEC only desires the collective good. We should know as well that the business sector and consumers alike are in for a better position. A new way of business is about to happen. Think positive, these are exciting times J

Going back to the events our class has initiated, we can say that we are now enjoying our “day off”. Haha. From on-the-spot planning of the ASEAN flag emblem and other member states’ flag raising program, organizing the ASEAN Quiz Bees, late night making and guarding the ASEAN Exhibit at Robinsons’, those early morning fuss to catch The Morning Show’s interview, conducting symposiums, ASEAN patrols up to all the upheaval our entire class has experienced.. Uggghhh, the list would never end to tell you (of course I am exaggerating). Hahaha.

The event was first in our university and probably in the whole Island of Negros! I'm so proud to be part of the organizing team. ✌✌✌

To show you how the event looked like, here are some photos: J

This was a forum we conducted as a class last first semester of 2013 in our International Relations Study
This is where it all started J

Another symposium we spearheaded in connection to our ASEAN AWARENESS DAYS campaign J

We also had our diplomatic dinner in which the food served are all from the ASEAN member states. I guess I don't have to enumerate them all since it's the 21st century and I know you can achieve knowledge right in your fingertips (literally) heheh. By the way, the Vietnamese spring rolls and the Indonesian Fish curry are superb!

Parade of Nations.
Every one in the class were required to wear the traditional costumes of their assigned nation.
Mine was Thailand! Yaaaay! J

Speeches of appreciation and readiness of the nations for the upcoming AEC were given by the chosen diplomats.

Candle Lighting to close the ceremony

Photo ops will always be present after every event. Haha

Selfies, of course! Haha.
This time, with our then very grumpy but now very happy professor who prompted and pushed us to organize this successful event.

ABPO3A

With my beloved BFFs. I just love these crazies!

Forgive me, but I just had to post my OOTN here. Haha ✌

After all the hustle and bustle our class went through to pull this thing off, we finally gained the fruit of our labor! You can certainly see the gladness gleaming in our eyes when we celebrated our culmination. It was indeed a tough ride but the glory of what we have contributed to the public is priceless.
