I have found the one whom my soul loves.

(Che Ann ♥ Ralph/RJ)

Every single day that I've been with him is fantastic! And now I get to blog about us as a couple for the first time! Aaaaaaaaahhhhhh! *Breathes Deeply* Okay, I'll try not to babble you with the things I'm feeling now cause it’s really overwhelming and it might freak you out literally. Hahaha.

And also, I plan not to bore you with the exact details from “how we met each other” down to “how we finally made it official”. But if you’re really that curious, I’ll give you snippets of information to take delight on.

We first met each other on the sweet year of 2007. RJ was the lead guitarist of their band and I was their lead vocalist, hahaha, kidding! I was this music enthusiast who always go wherever the band goes.. in short, a groupie! Hahahaha. We were friends but we were not close, in fact he always forgets my name (he has a big habit of forgetting names by the way, haha). I never got to see him often starting year 2008 because, sadly, he left the band. Of course we sometimes see each other in malls or in school but then again, he does not remember my name. Huhuhu, ANG SAKLAP! All those time, it was a one way relationship! It sucks, right? Hahaha. One time, I saw him walking in the streets of La Salle (our school) and I was also in the hype of inviting people for our church’s upcoming event! Well, I think He was fortunate enough to see me that day while I'm still in the state of excitement. Hahaha. So I asked for his number (of course that is the legit thing to do when you’re inviting someone for an event but doesn’t know how to contact that person, it’s different from flirting! Yes I am defensive. Haha). I only texted him when the date of our event was near because I’m not really fond of texting and to make the long story short, he came! After that, we became “close-friends” but I never thought of making him my boyfriend. I just don’t know if he shares that same feelings with me because I think he already had a crush on me ever since. Hahahaha. Nah, we were the type of kids that you wouldn’t expect would end up together. So we continued to be friends for a while and I asked him the reason why he always forgets my name and told me that he always gets mesmerized by my beauty, that’s why! (Oh, see? I told you he had a crush on me! Hahaha). As time went by, our friendship grew and went into what we call the “deeper zone”. Lol. That friendship isn’t cheap, mind you. We’ve been through and sacrificed a lot just to maintain our friendship. But since this is not the right venue to talk about it, let’s move on. Hehehe. Anyways, our feelings for each other became really strong to the point that were unable to battle against its tide. Our friendly get-togethers became our sweet infinity. After more than a year of friendship, courtship and mutual affection we finally decided to make it official. Now we can proudly say that we are in a great and amazing relationship with each other!

Heheh.

Didn't I tell you I would only give you snippets? But I guess I gave you a barrel! Haha. Sorry, I just can’t keep my fingers from typing those words. I hope you didn't get bored, Hihihi.

My boyfriend, OMG am I really calling him this? Hahaha! Let’s change it to “my love” because I think that sounds sweeter.  Again..

My love and I have had extraordinary lives together for quite some time now. More than what we could have imagined. Being together made the two of us better persons than we were before. Finding him was a blessing. Really.

Here are some of our photos together ^_^

This is the first photo we had and it's during the event I was talking about earlier! He surprisingly sat on the front row and watched me sang with the other worship singers that night. Aaaahhh kilig <3

Sorry I didn't had time to edit this but yeah we were together with my friends in Mambucal. I suddenly missed our good old days wtih Tammy, the birthday girl. She's the one doing the very wacky pose. lol

This was the time when we went to watch my favorite Pinoy Band, Up Dharma Down, together :)

The thing that we always liked to do is eating :D

Hooray for our first February 14!
Happy Birthday to my one and only Love!
Happy Birthday to me!

(The following pictures might not have any captions) :P

(And now, these are the recent photos when we made our relationship official)
^____^

I was seriously speechless and in awe when he surprised me with his bouquet of gorgeous flowers and a ring when I was having my lunch with my friends at school.
His sweetness really never gets old.
♥ This is truly worth the wait. ♥

What we did:
Had our lunch
Went to Calea
Went to Chalet for Dinner
Raced to Robinsons' as fast as we can to get a ourselves a photograph,
gosh that experience was intense! Hahaha.

I'm blessed beyond measure when God aligned our stars.
It's true, I'm happiest when I'm with him.
God is now writing the next chapter of our love story
and one thing I know that is for sure.
It is going be the best!

An insight on Philippine People Power Revolution as it celebrates its 28th anniversary.

Several years have passed after the famous people power revolution that shaped the world of politics. Now, we are commemorating its 28th anniversary! People power became the paradigm of a peaceful and non aggressive kind of revolution, thus resulting for many other countries to copy this scheme or tactic to reform their own government. The 1986 revolution sprung when Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino – a politician who is close to the hearts of the Filipino people- got assassinated. Philippines blamed its current President that time, saying that he hired a hit-man to execute the former. But of course, this accusations wasn’t proved, up until today.  Even if the Revolution was said to be serene, it was not an easy action for all the Filipino people to accomplish their fervent desire to oust the late President Ferdinand Marcos from the presidential seat. Thousands of Filipinos marched towards EDSA equipped with no firearms but only with courage and faith, fighting for freedom from President Ferdinand Marcos’ so-called widespread repression of rights. The yearning of the Filipino people for a concrete political change was a struggle but was later on accomplished because of their spirit of unity.

This rich history of Philippines is an inspiration but do you still remember this event? Or for the youngsters of this generation, do we recall what our parents and forefathers told us; or do we really understand the importance of this historical event? Most of us often have our memories scrubbed by other phenomenon that occur in our personal/social lives. Like for instance, a politician was found guilty of corruption today; he runs as a mayor tomorrow, covering his errs by lending small helps; and get elected the next day. We tend to forget their multitudes of wickedness because we were swayed by their deceits. After 28 years, did we really gain democracy? Are we better off today than we were before the EDSA Revolution happened? Or are we simply spinning on the same place? I most certainly agree of what the Article I read quoted -- we have a grand memory for forgetting. There were many people involved in the occurrence of this Revolution that possessed hidden debauched agenda. Yet, despite of their wickedness and ravenousness, they are still seated in numerous seats of our Philippine Government. I like the way the other blogger put into words the thing that I was trying to point out, and he said, “Filipinos are fascinated by ideas; ideas feed our spirits”.  Which is, for me, relatively true. We get fascinated whenever the People’s champ wins a fight, a young Filipino man qualified for the Sochi Olympics, a famous celebrity got mauled and was accused of rape and the list goes on. These things sugarcoats our society’s bitter reality. If we truly achieved the ideal democracy that we want, why is it so that there is this extreme scandal happening in Philippine Politics today? If we truly desire for a better country, why do we still elect “officially corrupt” politicians to run our nation? If we truly want to be agents for change, why are we still sitting around and not doing anything?

February 25, 1986 made us proud to be Filipinos. But then we defeat the purpose of the People Power Revolution by leaving its idea a mere idea and not really act upon it. As one of the Filipino Blogger would say, in closing, “25 years from now, I do not want to see a country proud because of a boxer or a singer. I do not want to see a country proud because we have the highest remittances from overseas workers. I want to see a country proud because, finally, we realized the hopes thrown along the yellow confetti and plans written on a linen paper. I want to see a country still fascinated by ideas yet moving forward and celebrating with actions.

Today, I celebrate with the rest of the Philippines for the 25th anniversary of our first peaceful revolution.

Today, I also weep for the 28 years of lost opportunities.

Pre-summer day out!

Summer always had a special place in my heart and fortunately, I [finally] got the chance to dip in a cool and invigorating water of Palmas Del Mar’s swimming pool! Hahaha. I’ve always wanted to go on a beach but since good shores are far from where I am residing, I guess a swimming pool beside the sea is an acceptable alternative. Ha-ha. Well for me, this is a great and satisfactory getaway after a long stressful week of school examinations, community outreach (in a remote area of Bago City) and a tiresome work for a short-lived career. Aaah, thank You God for blessing me with free time to spend with my boys :))
So here are the pictures we've taken during that day:
Blue Skies and Coconut Trees! Can't wait for the long summer vacation!
After the World Wide Walk conducted by the Church of Christ to help the survivors of Yolanda and after the Community service that we did to the children of Bagroy Elementary School in Bago City, we rushed in Palmas Del Mar to unwind and loosen up :)
This t-shirt is practically our own couple shirt! Haha.

It's just me being so awkward in this photo. I was actually shy to take off my shawl, I'm really a conservative kind of person you know. Hihihi. No, really. Haha.

But still, I managed to take my shawl off (at long last) to parade my cute super pink bikini top that I got from Veautique Trends

Taking selfies because I can't get enough of this cute pink bikini top!

It's when you're taking a moment to achieve a good pose and someone accidentally photobombed in your picture, hahahaha. EPIC!

The two best buddies! My not so little brother, Joshua and our most diligent cousin, Dondie.

Why isn't this a pleasing sight to see? Lovey is teaching my most "makulit" brother how to swim and float. Hahahaha, hands down to your patience, love.
Hang loose! Because he now knows how to swim (a little) haha!

Think Pink

Now, here are the other cute pictures I got with my lovey and the sunset, hihi.
I don't think I'll need to put captions on them, the pictures practically says it all :))

And there you have it! The first summer blog I posted in this new blog site of mine :)
Hoping for a greater summer getaway this vacation!
Enjoy the sun you guys!
Ciao, God bless.
